Enid Symphony Center The Enid Symphony Center is the primary venue for the Enid Symphony Orchestra , the first civic orchestra in Oklahoma , founded in 1905 . ESC features classical and popular guest artists of regional , national and international stature . Gaslight Theatre / Turpin at Gaslight This local theatre presents entertaining stage productions regularly in the historic Criterion movie theater . Enid ’ s Community Theatre has an active season of 10 shows annually , which include a children ’ s show , a teen production , comedy dinner theatre and a free Shakespeare in the Park . The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center tells the extraordinary story of the 1893 land run , the largest in American history . The exceptional facility engages visitors in the history of the Cherokee Strip from settlement to present through five interactive exhibit galleries . Other features of this quality museum include a rotating exhibit gallery , theater , research center and museum shop featuring unique gifts and the works of local artists . The Center ’ s living history area , Humphrey Heritage Village , is a grouping of historically significant buildings including the only remaining 1893 U . S . David Allen Memorial Ballpark From the brick arches at the entrance of the stadium to the large video display board in the outfield , this is truly a magnificent facility . The stadium located downtown Enid has a large concession stand as well as a local baseball museum . A few key features include the artificial turf infield as well as indoor batting cages . The stands include 359 chair-back seats that were imported from the old Baltimore Memorial Stadium as well as seating upstairs in the balcony area . The ballpark hosts regular season games as well as tournament play on a local , regional , and national level for high school and college athletes . 301 S . Advance Soccer Complex The newly constructed , state-of-the-art soccer complex is located on the west edge of Enid . It is made up of 7 full-size fields , 6 natural grass and 1 turf . This includes a championship turf field complete with press box and electronic scoreboard . These fields can be reconfigured to allow all age group ’ s proper size fields , from youth to adult league play . The fields can also be reconfigured for flag football and possibly lacrosse . A state-of-the-art playground complements the complex along with sunshades , water stations and a specially designed water feature .
