Board of School Trustees
The Greater Clark County Schools Board of Trustees consists of members that are elected by the voters in specified geographic districts throughout Clark County . Each board member is elected at-large for a four year team during the November elections on even numbered years ; however , the elections are staggered to provide continuity of leadership . In January , the School Board elects its members to fill the President , Vice-President , Secretary , and Treasurer offices . The Chief Executive Officer of the Board is the Superintendent of Schools .
