yoming bleeds brown and gold! The Militiary Affairs Committee hosted the Ultimate
Tailgate in Laramie, Wyoming on September 12th. The BBQ was presented by Bicycle
Station, the food sponsor was Platte Valley Bank and the Media Sponsor was 96.1 Kiss FM
and 100.7 KOLT. Will Hardin, a Chamber Partner, is featured in this photo with his family
during the MAC Tailget. It was a fun family affair.

Business After Hours. They opened
their doors to celebrate with the business
community their 30 years of service.
Owner, Dennis Humphrey stated, “It has
been a pleasure serving our community
for so many years. I attribute our success
as a business to great employees. We are
all family.”

ne of the reasons the Military Affairs
Committee hosts the Tailgate in
Laramie is to invite Military families to the
game to show appreciation for their service.
In addition, Military Dignitaries like Chief
Whipple were in attendance greeting families
and showing support.
heyenne is exploring the opportunity
to hire a City Administrator. The
September Luncheon featured a panel
discussing the topic of hiring a professional
for the City of Cheyenne who would be
responsible for implementing the missions
set forth by the City Council. The election to
vote for this structure will be November 10th.
he VA Hospital is located in Cheyenne,
Wyoming and provides an array of
services. An extension to their facility
will help veterans receive support and
counseling while they reside in their own
private living quarters. The August MAC
luncheon discussed the VA Hospital and all
of their services for our Veterans.
usiness After Hours for the month
of September had three awesome
hosts, Vino’s Wine, Spirits & Catering,
MillerPromotions and RE/MAX Capitol
Properties. During these events the business
public have the opportunity to check out
a local business’ establishment and build
strong relationships with professionals.
heif of Police, Brian Kozak of the
Cheyenne Police Department stated
during the August Luncheon, “Cheyenne
is a safe community and our reports show
this. Our police officers do a great job
protecting Cheyenne and we are thankful to
have community support which provided us
our new facility downtown.”
he Washington D.C. Fly-In with the
Wyoming Wranglers was a great
success. Wranglers met with their D.C.
Consultant, Congresman Lummis, Senator
Enzi, Senator Barasso and the U.S.
Chamber. All parties are better informed
and are focused on issues facing Cheyenne
when we engage in such opportunities.
