ical Gardens conference was held at the ETABS in Feb 2004 . In 2005 , the children ’ s handicapped accessible play garden and play houses were donated and completed .
Other incredible locations to visit at the ETABS are the farmhouse museum filled with period furnishings and memorabilia , a milking barn , a replica schoolhouse , peaceful water garden , butterfly garden , the Bog area , bee hive , and bat house .
Many events are held at the ETABS each year , including their fall festival , fall and spring plant sales , fall and spring style shows , father ’ s day fish fry , painting classes , cooking classes , and various other events . Lots of fun activities pop into the calendar as well , such as children ’ s day camps and summer camps , movie nights , and live music .
A lot of clubs host their meetings at the Woman ’ s Building on site , which is also the home to events like the style shows . The ETABS is also available to rent for weddings , showers , birthdays , photography , field trips , and more . One of the newer additions to the ETABS is the Henderson County Veterans Memorial Wall which was dedicated on Nov . 11 , 2013 . This wall was completely funded by grants and donations and is dedicated to all veterans , both living and deceased , who were enlisted in Henderson County or were natives of the area .

The ETABS is open from 9 a . m . to 5 p . m . 365 days a year for $ 5 or less per entry . Memberships are available at only $ 25 and up and it gives admission / benefits at over 300 gardens throughout North America as well as multiple home arboretum benefits .
