In which categories did you show in the Henderson County Youth Livestock Show ? Broilers and Project show What is your favorite thing about agricultural studies / the Show ?
What I find interesting about
agriculture studies is learning about the development of animal and plant production . I got to experience this first hand when I had to raise my broilers for the livestock show .
How long have you been exhibiting / competing ? Two years Have you ever won a category ? If so , when ? I haven ’ t really won although I made the sale for my broilers at the 2021 Henderson County livestock show .
What is your proudest accomplishment ?
My proudest accomplishment was probably making the sale for my broilers or earning a scholarship through the HCLS .
What advice do you have for younger participants or someone showing for the first time ?
It ’ s a joy seeing your animals transform and grow with the care and attention you give them . Although through the process of raising livestock you may be faced with obstacles but you should battle them through and continue to put in all your effort because at the end your hard work will pay off no matter the outcome .
How do you think the skills you ’ ve learned will benefit you after graduation ?
I learned various different skills throughout my experience since it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to raise livestock . Some of the skills I learned are how to be
responsible , patient , and develop a strong work ethic . After graduation these skills will benefit me because I can implement them in my everyday life , like my future career .

If so , when ? No What is your proudest accomplishment ? Third place market hog . What advice do you have for younger participants or someone showing for the first time ? Good luck . How do you think the skills you ’ ve learned will benefit you after graduation ?
I learned how to take care of and manage a lot of different things .

I ’ ve showed rabbits for four years .
What is your favorite thing about agricultural studies / the Show ?
I love meeting new people and learning about the different breeds of animals and how people take care of them .
Have you ever won a category ? If so , when ?
I have won best of breed two times at Fort Worth and best of variety at the State Fair .
What is your proudest accomplishment ?
My proudest accomplishment is by far winning best of opposite at the state fair
What advice do you have for younger participants or someone showing for the first time ?
Ask a lot of questions and don ’ t be scared to show different things . Don ’ t give up either , just because you don ’ t win at one show doesn ’ t mean you won ’ t win at another .
How do you think the skills you ’ ve learned will benefit you after graduation ?
Agriculture and FFA in general has taught me so much about animals and most of all how to talk to people and make friends .
