Brownsboro High School valedictorian is Sarai Torres , daughter of Michael and Silvia Torres .
Torres finishes BHS with a grade point average of 4.2 and plans to attend Texas A & M University at College Station to study oceanography and marine processes .
“ I look forward to joining Squadron 6 of the Corps of Cadets as well as Parsons Mounted Cavalry .”
Awards received during high school include : Girls Soccer Academic All-State Team ( Elite ), All-State Journalism Team , A-Honor Roll ( 4 yrs ), Perfect Attendance ( 4 yrs ), District Champion Journalism Team ( 2 yrs ), Special Recognition in Mathematics , Special Recognition in English , State Qualifier in UIL Ready Writing .
During high school she participated in Soccer , Cross Country , National Honor Society , UIL Academics , FFA and Yearbook ( Chief Editor and Designer ).

Brownsboro High School salutatorian is Mekhayia Moore , she is the daughter of Shanequa McCoy .
Moore finishes BHS with a grade point average of 4.2 and plans to attend Texas Christian University to major in Biology .
“ My desire has always been to pursue the healthcare industry , so my first step in striving to be a medical student is to follow TCU ’ s pre-med program ,” she said .
Awards received during high school include : A-Honor Roll ; AP Biology Student of the Year ; Academic All-District player ; TGCA Academic All-State , TABC Academic All-State ; 1st team all-district player ; All-Henderson County player ; TABC All-Regional player ; All-State player ; District Defensive MVP ; First Team All East Texas ; District MVP ; Basketball State Champion ; UIL State MVP ; Ford player of the week ; Credit Union player of the week .
Some of her extracurricular activities are : Basketball , Track , National Honor Society ( President ), Academic UIL , Class Treasurer .
