Mary Henderson , a local pastor , fondly remembered her time at Fisher . She especially enjoyed the early morning assemblies , which included chapel , prayer , current events and an opportunity to sign and exercise talents .
“ I enjoyed the early morning assembly , a wonderful time for family gathering ,” Henderson stated . “ Most of all our teachers had personal interest in students ’ capabilities and encouraged us to become someone in life . Even though we didn ’ t have new books and pages were missing , we excelled anyway with new attitudes , new interests , vision and went on to new adventures . Lots of things to be grateful for .”
