Past crews turn out
to celebrate Scotch
rowing
There was a strong turnout of Scotch first
to fifth crews from past decades at the Don
Macmillan Head of the River Cocktails, held in the
Boykett Room, Cardinal Pavilion, on 15 March.
Guest speaker, Josh Booth (‘08) – silver medallist
at the Rio Olympic Games and a member of the
winning Scotch Head of the River crews in 2007
and 2008, provided insightful comments on the
success of Scotch College rowing.
At the cocktail party, Cardinal Club life
member Mrs Alvie Webster was recognised for
her tireless work for the Cardinal Club over many
years, with a boat named in her honour.
