' I am very excited to be the new Head of Junior School Strings. My role is across Junior and Senior School, meaning I am able to see the boys ' musical development throughout their school lives. My role includes teaching individual lessons and conducting numerous ensembles and orchestras. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the Junior School string students and I look forward to being a part of such a talented music team, supporting musical enjoyment and passion.' AMBERLEY BREMNER-HEAD OF JUNIOR SCHOOL STRINGS
' I am thrilled to join the Junior School team as a Year 5 teacher. I am thoroughly enjoying working with such an experienced, personable group of staff and highly supportive school community. Most of all, I am excited by the prospect of sharing humorous and memorable moments with each of my students as they develop as learners throughout the year.' PATRICK DOWER- YEAR 5 CLASSROOM TEACHER
' It ' s great to be back at Scotch College after being a relief teacher here in 2015. I always loved getting the call to come to Scotch, and the strong sense of community here made me feel right at home. During my relief teaching, I was lucky to meet a number of the boys throughout the school and I ' m very excited to be in Year 2 this year. Previously I was teaching Year 4 at Melbourne Grammar School which I found to be very rewarding. This year I look forward to a new year level, building a good rapport with the boys, families and colleagues, and providing fun and exciting ways for the boys to attain knowledge, which will benefit them as they progress through their years at Scotch College.' EMMA FITZ-WALTER- YEAR 2 CLASSROOM TEACHER
' This year I am teaching Prep with Mr Anthony Tasca, Mrs Andrea Luth and Ms Usa Cotton. It is a pleasure and a privilege to spend each day with these inquisitive boys. The welcoming and caring nature of the Scotch community has allowed a smooth start to the year for both the Prep boys and myself. I have taught at the Prep level for the past three years. Before that I taught in London where I developed a passion for phonics to add to my love of teaching numeracy and science. I look forward to getting to know each boy and understanding how I can best help him to learn and grow.' ALEXANDRA NASH- PREP CLASSROOM TEACHER
