The organising committee of the OSCA Mornington Branch,
Mary McCoy, Jocelyn and Geoff Kidd (‘61), hosted this year’s
lunch at Green Olive, Red Hill where guests enjoyed a whole farm
experience. Green Olive grows its own olives, grapes, herbs and
vegetables, raises sheep and chooks, and turns the farm produce
into a range of delicious fare. The event began with a walk and
talk about the farm’s approach to sustainable farming, and
continued with lunch in Green Olive’s garden room.
Tim Jelbart (’03) hosted this year’s dinner at the Inlet Hotel,
Inverloch, with Aaron Brown (’04), as guest speaker. Aaron is a
former South Gippsland Shire Councillor, and manages his family
property, Wattlebank.
