COMPANION OF THE ORDER OF AUSTRALIA (AC)
1. Professor San Hoa Thang AC
(past parent: Lachlan (‘13))
Professor Thang received his award for eminent service to science,
and to higher education, particularly in the fields of polymer chemistry
and materials science, through seminal contributions as a research
innovator, as a mentor, and to the community.
OFFICER OF THE ORDER OF AUSTRALIA (AO)
2. Associate Professor Susan Mary Baddeley AO
(wife of Stephen Baddeley AM (‘67))
Associate Professor Baddeley received her award posthumously for
distinguished service to child health as an academic and researcher, to
neo-natal paediatric medicine, and to the Indigenous community of the
Northern Territory.

3. The Hon. Alan John Brown AM
(past parent: Dallas (‘93), Julian (‘99) and Aaron (‘04))
Mr Brown received his award for significant service to the vocational
training and education sector, to philanthropy, and to the people and
Parliament of Victoria.
4. Mr Andrew Irvine Crockett AM
(past parent: Nick (‘95))
Mr Crockett received his award for significant service to the law,
particularly to legal aid services, to education, and to the community.
5. Mrs Christine Roslind Ferguson AM
(past parent: David (‘95) and Andrew (‘00))
Mrs Ferguson received her award for significant service to the
community of Gundagai, to local government, and to parliament and
politics in NSW.
6. Professor Andrew Stewart Kemp AM (‘60)
(past parent: Charles (‘95))
Professor Kemp received his award for significant service to medicine,
and to medical education, in the field of paediatric allergy and
immunology as a clinician, academic and researcher.
7. Professor Christine Faye McDonald AM
(past parent: Andy (‘13))
Professor McDonald received her award for significant service to
respiratory and sleep medicine as a clinician-researcher, administrator,
and mentor, and to professional medical organisations.

8. Mr James Gilbert Nicol AM (‘66)
Mr Nicol received his award for significant service to the
community of Warrnambool, through contributions to local
government, tertiary education, sport, health and social welfare.
9. Mrs Margaret Alicia Sahhar AM
(past parent: Andrew (‘98))
Mrs Sahhar received her award for significant service to health
education, particularly through genetic counselling, and to the
community through professional health organisations.

Dr McKinnon received his award for service to veterinary science,
particularly to equine reproduction.

Mr Miller received his award for service to medicine, particularly
to otolaryngology.
