Examples include assisting in the development of Tiwi
College on Melville Island in the Northern Territory,
raising voluntary donations from the Scotch Family
to assist in Zambia with schools at Kapumfi and
Chitulika, and working with Hume Central College in
Broadmeadows in Melbourne, in mathematics. Scotch
is also an active partner in the International Boys’
Schools Coalition, which seeks to encourage continuing
improvement in boys’ education in many countries.
As a non-selective school, Scotch College will
continue to provide an education to a wide diversity of
students. The School Council takes pride in supporting
with its high quality grounds, facilities and outstanding
staff our Principal Tom Batty’s drive to provide the
best education tailored to the needs of individuals. The
Council greatly values the support of members of the
Scotch Family for initiatives that continue to enhance
the school’s ability to bring the best out of each boy.
