The Australian Electoral Commission told us
more about electorates and all the pressure the
candidates must have felt during the elections.
In the end, Canberra tested us in various ways,
both physically and mentally.’

‘I felt frustrated at Questacon when the ball
didn’t go through all the hoops. It took several
tries and all my patience, but in the end the
ball went through all the hoops. The feeling of
happiness and pride that overcame me when
the task was completed was refreshing and
wonderful. In the end I knew that our trip to
Canberra was all about resilience and patience.’
