WE SEEK HIM HERE : OSMAD ’ S THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL
OSMaD is looking forward to getting back on stage in 2021
After a highly successful production of Miss Saigon in 2019 , the Old Scotch Music and Drama Club was disappointed not to be able to bring another show to life in 2020 .
But with restrictions easing , OSMaD is now looking forward to getting back on the Scotch stage in 2021 , and starting to work with the creative team on what will now be the October 2021 production of The Scarlet Pimpernel .
We have an extremely talented creative team on board so far , but we are always looking for new people to join us . It takes a large team of people to produce a successful show and we ’ d love Scotch Family members to be part of it . There are many ways to contribute , both on and off the stage , from creative roles , to cast , orchestra , front of house and set construction . If you have time to contribute , we ’ ll gratefully accept it ; please head to our website : https :// osmad . com . au / get-involved .
Throughout 2021 we also hope to continue our great masterclass series , with new events including skills development and behind-the-scenes insight into theatre production .
With a new year comes a new committee . We welcome committee members Damien Calvert ( President ), Chris Richards (’ 13 – Treasurer ), David Barrell (’ 11 – Secretary ), Katherine McDonald , Amy Calvert , Tristan Lawrence , Donald McDonald (’ 62 ), Jan Goldsmith , Lucy Mason , Matthew Nutley , Richard Beveridge (’ 61 ), Ros Turnley , Suzi Cossar , Tim Minturn and Jenna Featherstone .
Finally , OSMaD also welcomes the company ' s newest life members ; Katherine McDonald , Donald McDonald , Jan Goldsmith and Suzi Cossar . They have all been an important part of the company over many years , and we thought there was no better way to recognise their exceptionally valued contributions .
