On our recent trip to Canberra we visited Parliament House . A special place we saw was Members ’ Hall . This hall is a place only for ministers . Members ’ Hall is between the House of Representatives and the Senate . In the centre of the hall is a special water feature symbolising democracy . This water feature prevents anyone from standing in the centre of the building . I think that is a way of saying one individual is not the most powerful person in Australia and everyone is equal .
