At reunions , casual gatherings , and in stories told to family members , you have no doubt told or heard a story or two about memorable Scotch sporting moments . Whether you were the hero or villain of the story , a teammate who gazed in wonder or cried tears of laughter , or an astonished onlooker , the Archives wants your stories . Do not let them be lost to history : write in and tell your tale , and they will be safely stored in the new Archives for future generations to enjoy . Some of the best ones will be shared in Great Scot .
Tell us about the goal after the siren or the dead certain game-winner that missed . Who in the boat crabbed and lost the race ? Who played only one game in the Firsts yet won the premiership ? What happened at the pre-season camp , or the after party ? Who scored the six , who prematurely celebrated the win before being beaten across the line , which school was your greatest foe and why , who did the most amazing thing you have ever seen in school sport , and what made you change to badminton ? What is the funniest or most clever thing you have said , heard , done or seen in APS sport ?
Please provide as much detail as you can , to make the recollections more meaningful . ( Consider providing corroborating witness statements for what might otherwise seem the hairiest of tall tales !) Name schools , locations , dates , sports , places and people . If you use nicknames and know the real names , please provide both . If you have any photographs , team lists , or related memorabilia , donate them , or loan them for scanning and return to you .
