A group of young Old Boys is gaining valuable experience working at a major fabrics and textile wholesaling business , located in Melbourne .
There are seven young Old Boys working in production at the company , ensuring orders are processed on time . They are learning the grass roots of the business , which could be a stepping stone into other opportunities within the company , and they are receiving a valuable grounding in business life .
The current owners of the business , Warwick Fabrics , are Cam Warwick (’ 84 ) and his younger brother , Leighton (’ 89 ).
Cam said : ‘ We are enjoying working with OSCA to ensure that young Old Boys are given the opportunity to work and garner experience while jobs are scarce in these unusual times . These opportunities have been presented via OSCA , thanks to the good work of Scott Montgomery and Caroline Taylor .’
Leighton also said he was glad to have the young Old Boys working with the company . ‘ We hope they will be inspired to launch careers in business , either in fabrics and textiles , or elsewhere in the business world . We believe the experience of working here will stand them in good stead wherever their careers take them .’
