While their ‘ small ’ guest list of 50 is a rarity in traditional Thai circles , it was perfect for the pair . “ The intimate , family atmosphere is not necessarily something you feel with a big wedding ,” says the bride . “ Our guests loved the location , the food , and the family feel .”
The mouthwatering reception menu had a particular highlight for the bride : the coconut wedding cake . “ I have never tasted better !” she says .
After the romance and emotion of the ceremony , everyone was ready to let loose . “ At our dinner and afterparty , we were really happy to have our family and friends together to play games and dance like crazy ,” Paweena says . “ I didn ’ t worry about keeping my bridal ‘ look ’, I just wanted to enjoy the moment .”
The newlyweds send a heartfelt thanks to the cherished guests who flew in from Germany and all over Thailand to join them . “ We have no words to express how appreciative we are ,” says Paweena .
And her advice for other couples ? “ Just choose the celebration that you really love and don ’ t worry what others think . It ’ s your memories and your day .”
