6. Man-made

In most weddings, the bride-to-be plays the leading role in steering the wedding ship through stormy moments and challenging winds of change during the planning stages. While a groom has certain duties he’ll traditionally attend to – such as organising outfits with his group of merry men – that’s often about the extent of his involvement. If you want your guy more engaged in the planning process, throwing a destination wedding might do the trick. He may be willing to provide much more input into things like travel logistics such as transport, accommodation and sourcing fun activities for the bridal party to do than you could have possibly entertained in a traditional game plan. Why? Simply because to him a destination wedding is as much a travelling adventure as it is about you becoming his beautiful bride.

7. Vacation elation

Destination weddings have the added benefit of treating everyone to a wonderful holiday. And, who doesn’t like a holiday right? If you want to choose a location that’ll really wow your guests, pick somewhere that none of you have ever been to before – and can spend loads of time reminiscing about afterwards.
