Entertainment is key to keeping that holiday feeling flowing. “We hired a local village band to play on the beach while all our guests mingled and we were off having photos taken,” say Ryan & Kim of their Vanuatu nuptials. Rita says music kept the party vibes alive at her Bali reception. “We had an epic dance floor that filled as soon as Justin and I shared our first dance and didn’t clear until well after midnight!”

It may seem easier said than done, but once you have a dream team of suppliers and planners in place, try and relax! “Don’t sweat the small stuff” has been the hot tip from countless couples over the years. Your main responsibility will be getting to your dream destination with everything in tow (including the all-important gown). “Be nice to the airline staff,” says Ben, who names “getting the wedding dress safely to Port Douglas on a plane!” as one of the only stresses in the whole planning process.
