Dirty Thirties
Dirty thirties, known as the dust bowl, was an effect of the Great Depression. After generations of using soil the sun dried it up. Farmers couldn’t plant crops therefore they couldn't make money. People migrated to bigger cities in search of homes and jobs, but do to the Great Depression they couldn’t find what they were looking for.
