2015 ushered in a “ Golden Era ” of China-British relations .
This year , bilateral cooperation between the two countries has marked a productive and fruitful period . Following Britain having become the first Western country to join the Asia Infrastructure Investment bank , the state visit of the Chinese President to Britain attracted global attention . The British government has further eased its visa rules for Chinese travellers with a new program offering a two-year multiple-entry visa , which will encourage more and more UnionPay cardholders from China , and other countries and regions , to visit Britain .
