The central premise of hockey
is an invasion, team and skill-
based sport. You either have
the ball or don’t have the ball.
The objective of hockey is
simple, to score goals and stop
the opposition from scoring
Principles of the Game have
been identified to provide a
common language in how
coaches and players talk about
and understand hockey, and as
a natural by product, produce
scholars of the game.
