Education team at the National Space
Centre in Leicester will take you on a tour
of the night time sky. They will identify
major constellations, explain some of the
myths associated with them and look at
some of the astronomical wonders they
contain. They will also help you build and
fire your own rocket.

physics experts on hand to explain the
science and CERN experiments.
Watch and listen as the scaffolded tower
of St Wulfram’s Church is engulfed as the
festival’s launchpad for Space Station
Grantham. Video mapping artist Dan
Shorten and outdoor events production
students from the Guidhall School of Music
and Drama offer a unique and showstopping launch for a rocket into outer
space.
