Astronomy is the study of light. In this
astronomy workshop you will get some
experience with light measurement tools
and follow a science investigation along
the way. You will also be able to explore
the universe with robotic telescope and
watch a live feed of images from across
the world.

Oxford…..workshop for Years 10 and
11 or sixth form students (please specify
when booking) using real astronomical
data to measure the age of the universe.
Led by Dr Chris Lintott.
Reflections:
Modern astronomy and astronomers still
use the fundamental principle proposed
by Sir Isaac Newton – that the rules of the
universe are the same as those observed
on earth.
