childhood home of Capt . Field E . Kindley , who at the time was the fourth-ranking flying ace of World War I with 12 confirmed victories . Kindley grew up in Gravette , from age 7 to his graduation .
The museum will provide tours from 8 a . m . to 2 p . m . on Gravette Day , and visitors can also shop at an antique and vintage flea market .
“ We hope to raise $ 1,000 ,” Hargrave said . “ However , we welcome donations from anyone who would like to
contribute , even if they don ’ t have a vehicle to participate .”
Two years ago , the Crose family , who had hosted the Gravette Day Car Show for 17 years , were not able to host the event and asked the Hargraves to host the future Gravette Day car shows , a task they proudly accepted . This will be their second year hosting the event .

stories behind the vehicles they bring . Most of all , encouraging others to get involved .”
The public is encouraged to come out and enjoy the vehicles and , of course , visit the Museum and the Historic Kindley House .
