What has been the best part about being Miss Gravette ?

I don ’ t think I can single out just one part of this year that has been amazing , because the entire year has been amazing . I loved every minute of it . Though I will say , getting Mexican food after events is definitely one of my highlights .

What advice do you have for the next Miss Gravette ?

Cherish every second of your reign , it goes by quick and before you know it you ’ ll be filling out these questions . Also do as much as you possibly can , go to every Gravette event you can and show people that you are there for them , to serve and help them . As well , take pictures with all the little kids who ask if you ’ re a princess .

Perri Miller Tell us a little about yourself . My name is Perri Miller , I

am the daughter of Amy and Justin Miller and sister of River Miller . I am going to be a senior at Gravette this year and the president of Gravette FFA . My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family and FFA family . I have my own company called Perri ’ s Pies and I love to cook and bake . Why do you love Gravette ? I love Gravette for many reasons , but mainly for that small town feel . I have traveled to many places , but there is no place like home . When things get rocky , I know that this community has each other ’ s back and that ’ s just not something your going to find in big cities . Not to mention the beautiful land , like Spavinaw Creek , which I enjoy swimming in every summer .

What was it like being Miss Teen Gravette this past year ?

Being Miss Teen Gravette this year has allowed me to experience our town from many new perspectives . I

loved getting to be at many events like the Third Thursdays , parades , and even got to hang out with Santa and Mrs . Claus . Being Miss Teen Gravette has given me a new appreciation for everyone who has a part in making our town grow and thrive .

What made you decide to try out for Miss Teen Gravette ?

I would have to say Shealee made me try out for Miss Teen Gravette . Being her friend during her reign as Miss Teen and getting to see the impact she made and how involved she was played a big part in how I got started .

What has been the best part about being Miss Teen Gravette ?

The best part … so many moments to choose from . I loved getting to be at so many events and meet so many new people . My favorite event had to be the helping out at Mount Olive Farms for their pumpkin and flower event .

What is your advice for the

next Miss Teen Gravette ? My advice to the next Miss Teen Gravette would be to not take time for granted , make it to as many events as possible and meet all the new people . The crown gets their attention but you have to show them what this organization is all about with your own personality .

The Gravette Day Pageant will begin at 3 p . m . Saturday , Aug . 10 , at the Main Stage , sponsored by HomeTown Mercantile & Venue .

Categories include Pretty Baby , Mr . Tiny Tot , Miss Toddler , Little Mister , Little Miss Toddler , Little Miss Petite , Young Little Mister , Junior Miss , Miss Preteen , Miss Teen Gravette and Miss Gravette . The Evening Wear competition and crowning of Miss Teen Gravette and Miss Gravette are scheduled for 6 p . m . and 6:30 p . m ., respectively . Pageant entry deadline is Aug . 1 .
