David

David a highly abused kid writes about his life and his hard time dealing with his mother awful behavior. This book is really hard to read but has a satisfying end because he comes into his own. He found a loving foster family who truly cares about him and he got away from that toxis envrioment. The book at times was hard to read because how could a mother do that to her own kid. Every kid needs a loving gaurdian to guide them through their youth.

The mom was truly awful to her son. David enededup to be a very well rounded guy even though he must have some mental trauma through the horrible times hes been through he truly emerged from the rublle as the winner “One could come from less than humble beginnings, to become a winner from within.” . Out of his whole family you can tell he was the most intelligent and intelectual of the 6 of them “Inside, my soul became so cold I hated everything. I even despised the sun, for I knew I would never be able to play in its warm presence. I cringed with hate whenever I heard other children laughing, as they played outside. My stomach coiled whenever I smelled food that was about to be served to somebody else, knowing it wasn't for me.”. He proved that your up bringing does to define who you will become int he end. As long as you stick to your morals and beliefs through out all of the struggles then you will be okay, even if its not the outcome you wanted.
