Phil Hampson , senior director of production printing systems , Canon Canada over 20 years ’ experience to his new position as a results-oriented sales leader . At Fujifilm NA , his most recent employer , he developed and executed strategic plans to achieve sales objectives . He also oversaw all aspects of the Fujifilm portfolio including high-production inkjet sales . Previously , Hampson spent over two years at Mondrian Hall as its national equipment manager , and more than five years at Ernest Green & Son as its national wideformat manager .

Xerox names Bandrowczak President and COO

Industry veteran Steve Bandrowczak will be responsible for developing and executing Xerox global operations strategies – including product and service delivery , customer billing , information technology , global procurement and real estate . He joins Xerox from Alight Solutions , where

He ’ s also held senior leadership positions for various global companies .

Print Panther wins big at international competition

Boutique printer Print Panther in Oakville , ON , the first company in Canada to install an MGI JETvarnish 3DS and iFOIL system from Konica Minolta Canada , has won seven Premier Print awards – an annual event organized by US-based PIA . Commonly known as the Bennie awards , the competition attracts more than 3,000 entries each year . Print Panther received one Certificate of Merit and six Awards of Recognition , given only to finalists in each category . “ Our vision to foresee the potential and embrace the power of MGI technology has allowed us to differentiate our offerings and create a different kind of print shop ,” said Christine Yardley , president . “ The custom finishing we do in-house truly sets us apart . Peter Lechner is the new CEO at KBA Flexotecnica . He takes over from Christoph Müller , who moves to the company ' s supervisory board as chairman . “ Peter has many years of experience in the field of flexible packaging and will continue on the positive path of Flexotecnica and

Kodak launches 2018 Global Flexo Innovation Awards

The awards honour packaging quality and innovation in at least two of these four categories : use of creative graphic design , conversion from other print processes , print production workflow efficiency , and commitment to sustainable print . The competition is open to any commercial packaging project printed with Kodak Flexcel NX plates . An independent panel of judges will assess the entries submitted .
