COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
The Community Development Block Grant ( CDBG ) provides funding to help create viable neighborhoods by providing decent housing , suitable living environments , and opportunities to expand economic development , principally for low- and moderate-income persons .
