Girls Inc . of Tarrant County is a non-profit youth organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be “ strong , smart , and bold !” Girls Inc . provides vital educational and recreational programs for young girls , particularly those in the 76010 zip code of East Arlington . Primary locations include Berry Elementary and Carter and Hutcheson Junior High Schools .

H . O . P . E . Tutoring Center is a faith-based non-profit organization providing free , after school , oneto-one volunteer-to-student tutoring . The program assists third to eighth grade Arlington ISD students with homework , literacy training , and math camps . Program locations include Aldersgate United Methodist Church ( UMC ), Epworth UMC , Good Shepherd UMC , St . Matthew Catholic Church , Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church , First UMC , First Presbyterian Church , and the East Library and Recreation Center .

CITY OF ARLINGTON PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT
The Parks and Recreation Department Build A Dream program provides financial assistance to low-income Arlington youth for participation in parks and recreation activities . These activities generally include afterschool programs , music and art classes , sports leagues , teen enrichment , swimming lessons , and summer day camps .
