When I first started styling and blogging I was totally
broke, sometimes I bought Vogue instead of dinner. I
found it fed me more. I, Sarah Neely have the story that
every fashion girl living in small towns can relate too.
I am a starving stylist and blogger who justifies
spending huge amounts of money thrifting and buying
killer heels, before making payments on rent but it's
my style that resulted from my little
substance abuse problem.
Born in a small town in
Mississippi, I'm a free spirit
with killer style that found
her purpose in fashion. I
want people to know that you
can still be yourself without
feeling the need to please
others, using my God-given
gifts to express my creativity through mixing prints,
wearing bright colors, shopping on a budget and
wearing pieces more than once. I'm that red head who
will be seen in major fashion magazines, styling red
carpet events, and styling your favorite celebrities.
Styling is not just a job for me; I eat, sleep and breathe
fashion. Many times I use my personal styling sessions
to teach people how to love themselves and step outside of their comfort zones. I
may be from a small town but my mind is bigger, more creative and truly inspiring.
I try to encourage people to change up their style, even if it's just as simple as
wearing a certain article of clothing/accessory and being able to own their look.
In 2013, I founded the Born Freely fashion blog with
the goal of shedding some positive light in fashion.
Born Freely is what makes styling a lifestyle and not
just a brand. Initially I started blogging to share vivid
details about my personal life and style. Through my
fashion blog I encourage people to love themselves,
while accepting and embracing their flaws.
Moreover, Born Freely is a way of life that I live daily.
Using my blog inspire others to follow their dreams,
even if they don't think that they have the support or
money to make those dreams a reality. With skills that
range from styling to blogging, I want to share with the
world why everyone should be free to be themselves,
dressing and living theway that they feel.
