DAY 1 • Depart U. S. Depart today on your flight to Paris, France.
DAY 2 • Arrive Paris, France • Embark ship Arrive today in Paris. If you started your discoveries early with our Flemish! Charms of Lille, France pretrip extension, you will meet up with the main group today. A Grand Circle representative will arrange your transfer to your river ship, where your Program Director will greet you.

DAY 4 • Rouen • Private concert Discover history-rich Rouen on a walking tour with a local guide today. You’ ll stroll through the Old Quarter, with its hundreds of timber-framed houses, and you’ ll also visit a small chocolate shop for some delicious samples. Then, gather at Rouen’ s Notre Dame Cathedral— a Gothic architectural treasure so inspirational to Impressionist artist Claude Monet— for a private Exclusive Discovery Series concert. DAY 6 • Mantes-la-Jolie • Cooking lesson This morning you’ ll have time at leisure to explore Mantes-la-Jolie. In the afternoon, you’ ll board the ship, which will set sail for Paris. As you cruise, enjoy a cooking lesson on how to make a traditional French Galette des Rois( King’ s Cake). Lunch and dinner will be served onboard today.
DAY 3 • Vernon • Christmas carols performance • French gourmet cuisine discovery • Welcome Dinner Arrive in Vernon and disembark for a walking tour of the city before enjoying time to explore at your leisure. With only 25,000 residents, Vernon retains the Old World charm that has endured since it was founded as a royal town in the ninth century. Later, return to the ship for a special performance of Christmas songs by students from Vernon, followed by a presentation
DAY 5 • Rouen • Home-Hosted Visit • Mantes-la-Jolie In the morning, visit a family at their home in Rouen, where you’ ll share both a lively cultural exchange and a few local treats during an Exclusive Discovery Series event. Please note: Due to holiday schedules, this visit will be subject to change for our departure over Christmas.
