DAY 1 • Depart U. S. Depart today on your overnight flight to Paris, France.
DAY 2 • Arrive Lyon, France • Embark ship Arrive in Lyon today, where you’ ll be met at the airport and transferred to your ship. Join your Program Director for a leisurely orientation walk in the surrounding area, followed by free time. This evening, gather with your fellow travelers, including those from our Paris, France pre-trip extension, for a Welcome Drink.

DAY 3 • Lyon • French market experience • Welcome Dinner Disembark this morning for a discovery walk of historic Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which we will explore on foot and by public transportation. Next, enjoy an Exclusive Discovery Series French market experience in which you’ ll explore a local market in Lyon. The afternoon is yours to pursue your own interests. This evening, join your fellow travelers onboard for a Welcome Dinner. Meals: B, L, D | M / S River Chanson
DAY 4 • Lyon • Fourvière Hill • Home- Hosted Visit Start the day with a funicular ride up Fourvière Hill with your Program Director. As you climb to the top, enjoy sweeping views of the city. Later, share gouter, a midday snack, with locals during a Home-Hosted Visit. Meals: B, L, D | M / S River Chanson
DAY 5 • Vienne • Côte-Rôtie vineyard visit • Cruise to Tournon Disembark this morning for a tour of Vienne, a charming town known for its impressive array of ancient Roman ruins. Then, visit a local vineyard in the Rhone wine region of France and learn about its famed Côte-Rôtie wine. Later, take part in an Exclusive Discovery Series French lesson onboard. DAY 6 • Tournon Experience the riverside town of Tournon, followed by a visit to a local chocolate shop. Later this evening, enjoy a live piano performance onboard. Meals: B, L, D | M / S River Chanson
DAY 7 • Viviers • Scenic sailing Disembark in Viviers this morning, and you’ ll set out on a walking tour of this charming town with your Program Director. Later, enjoy scenic
sailing through France’ s rugged Ardeche region. Meals: B, L, D | M / S River Chanson
DAY 8 • Nîmes Uncover the“ French Rome” today as you explore the city of Nîmes. Home to some of Europe’ s most impressive Roman ruins, Nîmes boasts at its heart a massive Roman Amphitheatre. You’ ll also witness the Maison Carrée in Nîmes, one of the best preserved Roman temples in the world.
