Set out for Prince Edward Island after breakfast — stopping en route to marvel at Hopewell Rocks , a collection of whimsical formations standing 40 to 70 feet tall . DAY 9 • Explore Saint John • Stonehammer Global Geopark
This morning , take a walking tour of some of Saint John ’ s highlights , including the historic districts and King ’ s Square . You ’ ll also discover the bustling City Market , whose aisles and stalls feature tantalizing treats from bakeries , delicatessens , cheese vendors , and other purveyors of fine goods from all around Canada and the world at large . Enjoy time this afternoon to spend in Saint John at your leisure . Then we ’ ll regroup and depart towards the Stonehammer UNESCO Global Geopark where we ’ ll visit the confluence of the Saint John River and the Bay of Fundy , known as the Reversing Falls after the unique phenomenon caused by the tide , as well as the Irving Nature Park and Rockwood Park .

DAY 10 • St . Andrews excursion • Visit Campobello Island • Whale watch
Discover Campobello Island , home to Roosevelt Cottage , President Franklin D . Roosevelt ’ s family summer retreat . The magnificent 34-room residence has been remarkably preserved , and is set amidst the sprawling grounds of the Roosevelt Campobello International Park . Then embark on a nature cruise and whale watch through “ one of the marine wonders of the world ,” the Bay of Fundy ( weather permitting ). DAY 11 • Saint John to Halifax , Nova Scotia After breakfast , begin your transfer to New Brunswick , stopping along the way for a cruise of Shediac Bay and an included lobster lunch onboard . You ’ ll then continue overland to Saint John , the largest city in the province of New Brunswick . DAY 12 • Halifax • Visit Lunenburg & Peggy ’ s Cove
Visit two picturesque destinations on the outskirts of Halifax today — Peggy ’ s Cove , set on the eastern shore of St . Margarets Bay , and Lunenburg , a port town on Nova Scotia ’ s scenic South Shore . The best surviving example of a British planned colonial settlement , Lunenburg ’ s Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its beautifully preserved architecture . DAY 13 • Return to U . S . Return home today , transferring to the airport after breakfast , or continue your explorations on our St . John ’ s , Newfoundland extension .
