This morning, you’ ll have the option to rise early for a sunrise balloon ride above the Atherton Tablelands, a lush tableau of rain forests, mountains, and lakes. Then, rejoin the rest of your fellow travelers and board a catamaran to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Here, you may choose to join an optional helicopter ride above the waters. Then enjoy an included tour which showcases the underwater wonderland that is the Great Barrier Reef from a pontoon-style observation post, your base of discoveries from which you may swim, snorkel, or probe the depths in a semi-submersible vehicle. A speaker with strong ties to the local Aboriginal people leads an Aborigines Today Exclusive Discovery Series discussion this afternoon.
