STOP ANIMAL CRUELTY!!!
They usually beco-
me feral and lives
in colonies, but
many of them die
in the streets.
Last year 104.447 dogs
and 33.335 cats were
rescued by different or-
ganisations in our coun-
try. In the Canary Is-
lands 10.000 pets are
abandoned every year.
They usually become
feral and live in colo-
nies, but many of them
die in the streets.
Some weeks ago, our
Art teacher, Yayi, joined
our English class , but she didn't come alone. Peque came with
her. She told us the story of Peque. Peque is a beautiful cat
and he was abandoned. He was very ill, but he was lucky be-
cause he found a nice person who rescued him and gave him
a new home. Peque walked around the classroom and soon
we fell in love with him. He was so cute and lovely. It was an
amazing experience!
That day we learnt that every animal deserves love and res-
pect. Animals suffer
like us , so please
