I began job hunting in December. I could not imagine that I would get offers from any companies. For the first step, I needed to decide what kind of job I wanted to do. I had cared about the salary and size of companies, but I realized that I should focus on what am I interested in. I decided to take a job interview of companies that are related to my hobbies or companies that I can use my strengths. I mainly tried entertainment companies because I like games, comics, movies and animations, I thought that had knowledge of entertainment. Each company said that they needed global and sociable people to spread their business all over the world. I appealed my communication and English skills. Some companies gave me a job offer, I wondered which company I should choose. From my childhood, I had watched "Gundam" because my parents liked it. I got a job offer from SUNRISE Inc, a company that has been making famous animations including "Gundam". I decided to accept their offer. SUNRISE is in charge of intellectual property of BANDAI NAMCO Holdings Inc. I will be sales person who advertise Japanese animation all over the world that is a job I really wanted do, so I can say my job hunting was a success. In 4th year, I do not have classes so much, so I am using my time for myself, like hanging out with friends, enjoying hobbies and doing part time job. Now I am looking back my memories of Kindai university while working on graduation project, I am ready to graduate from Kindai university.
3rd-4th year
In my3rd year I took a TOEIC test. Before I went to US, my score of TOEIC test was approximately 550, but eventually, my score improved to 850. By studying abroad, my listening skills of English improved. To get a higher score, I mainly focused on studying vocabulary. I memorized at least 20 words every day after I came back to Japan.
I thought 850 is enough to use in job hunting, so I quit to study English, and changed my goal to study. I mainly focused on three things. First,I put my energy to work on seminar activities . I learned many things through my seminar. Second, I started to read books in earnest. I mainly read psychology and business books. Third, I started job hunting to get a job offer from the company that I wanted to work at. The knowledge that I learned from books was so useful.
In the International Faculty, we can chose three courses to study (Asian Studies, Global Studies, Communication Studies), I chose communication study because the seminar that I wanted to participate in was in the communication course. I was not interested in communication classes, but in the class of professor Fukuda, I had changed my mind, I had began to read books. In his class, I learned how to read books and what is actual Intercultural understanding. His class is logical, his class is the most interesting for me.
