Day 3
Day 3 was supposed to be the hardest day. On day 3, there were informal debate, negotiation and final voting parts that were quite complicated. I was a chair, I had to explain and control meeting. We had a lot of things to do, Ryo, Honoka and Akira helped me, so meeting proceed smoothly. However, in informal debate, some experienced delegates tried to change rules and progress. I rejected his suggestion because I thought that if we changed rules , bureaus and most delegates would confuse. The main theme oh JEMUN is cooperation. Finally, adviser give us a suggestion, we changed meeting program. Most of us did not understand new program, Everyone had confused so much, it was like hell. Meeting had finished in bad mood.
However, I realized that I am fine. I even got confidence, I thought if I proceed meeting in Japanese, I should be able to do well.
Summary
Whenever I face problems, I remember JEMUN conference. Compared to JEMUN especially day 3, most of problems are easy to solve.
If I did not chose Thorpe seminar, I would have not participated in JEMUN by myself. It was a good choice for me to study communication in his seminar.
I hope that I can use these experience after I graduate from university.
