“ We’ re not too big, not too small,” she said.“ I like the environment.” Jaco said she’ s wanted to be a cook since high school.“ I have a lot of freedom in the kitchen,” she said.“ I pretty much make what I want to make. The stuff we have on the menu has been on the menu since my grandmother made the menu,” she clarified.“ We’ ve added things we think will do well. As far as soups, there are some that have been here a long time, like broccoli cheese. The recipe has been the exact same. Some of the other soups, I’ ve twisted them and made them what I want them to be.”
All the food is made from scratch. Among the favorites are the broccoli cheese soup and the Magnolia Delight, a layered dessert consisting of cream cheese, chocolate and whipped cream. Rimmer said they now offer specials. The nursery offers hanging plants, bedding plants, vegetables and combination pots.
