Imagine an office filled with colorful blooms and lush greenery with your own tea house at your disposal. That’ s the environment in which Marlaina Rimmer, owner of Hidden Gardens Nursery and Tea House in Bullard, works.
“ I was so proud of [ my parents ] and I wanted to carry it on. I’ m big on family, and my daughter’ s next in line,” she said.“ I couldn’ t see them selling it, having someone else do it.”
Rimmer, who was raised around plants all her life, said she wasn’ t really into gardening until about 10 years ago.
“ I didn’ t expect to ever do that portion of [ the business ], but here I am,” she said.“ It turns out that this is the part I love the most.”
