Emily Monday
Emily Monday is a dedicated student and leader with a passion for agriculture. She serves as FFA Chapter President and Vice President of the National Honor Society. An accomplished showman, Emily has shown pigs since age 8 and now raises her own, recently winning her class at the State Fair of Texas and multiple championships at the East Texas State Fair as well as other Texas Major Shows. She will attend Sam Houston State University in the fall to pursue a degree in agricultural education and plans to become an agriculture teacher, with hopes of giving back to the industry that shaped her and mentoring future generations of agricultural leaders.
Hollie Holbrook
Hollie Holbrook is the 2025 Salutatorian at Wells High School. As a freshman, she joined Student Council, Art Club and National Honor Society. Her sophomore year, she joined her local 4-H club, focusing on photography. In her junior year she participated in Academic UIL. In her senior year, she was elected Art Club President and National Art Honor Society Vice President. Additionally, she was voted the“ girl most likely to succeed.” She also placed third in UIL and advanced to regionals for Headline Writing. After graduating from Wells ISD, Holbrook plans to pursue a Doctorate in Aquatic Biology and focus her efforts on shark conservation. She is very excited about what the future holds.
