Payton Wells

Payton Riley Wells, daughter of Sam and Ammie Wells, plans to attend the University of Texas at Tyler and major in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Payton has been a two-year member of the National Honor Society, currently serving as Executive vice president, a four-year member of both Student Council and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Payton was State Champion in Powerlifting her freshman year. She also played volleyball, basketball, softball and track, earning superlatives every year. Wells participated as a cheerleader all four years as well. Payton was voted“ Best All Around” and“ Friendliest” by her senior classmates and voted“ Most Beautiful” by the entire student body. Scholarships received thus far are from University of Texas at Tyler Valedictorian Scholarship and Troup Chamber of Commerce.

Emory Cover

Emory Elise Cover, daughter of Clint and Dusti Cover, plans to attend the University of Texas at Tyler and major in Nursing. She has been a two-year member of the National Honor Society and four-year member of the Student Council, serving as Executive Secretary for both organizations. She has also been an active member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Emory played volleyball, track and golf for four years, earning many district superlatives including state qualifier for Track in 2024. She has participated in UIL Academics for two years and was a cheerleader for four years. Cover was voted Most Athletic by her senior classmates. Scholarships received thus far are from University of Texas at Tyler Salutatorian Scholarship and the Troup Rotary Club.
