Estrella Moreno

Berenice Aguilar

Estrella Moreno is the daughter of Maria Mancera and Rene Moreno. She has attended New Summerfield Independent School District from 2011 to 2025. Estrella attained national certifications through the National Healthcareer Association in the following: EKG technician, phlebotomy, clinical medical assisting and patient care technician. Estrella was a member of the tennis team in 2024, where she won 2nd place at the district level and qualified for regionals. Estrella enjoys volunteering to support her school and community, and loves to challenge herself by taking dual credit courses and participating in UIL competitions. She is involved in ACE, an after-school program where she learns to cook, play the clarinet and practice her medical skills. Estrella plans to study biochemistry and physics at the University of Texas at Tyler, with aspirations of becoming a researcher and making unique discoveries to benefit her community.

Berenice Aguilar is the daughter of Domingo Aguilar and Egna Aguilar. Berenice holds a 3.95 GPA, 98.8 grade average and will graduate with 63 college credits through Tyler Junior College. She will graduate with her Associates Degree in General Studies in May. Berenice is the Vice-President of the National Honor Society and involved in ACE, an after-school program, where she is part of the 4-H Club and is a summer volunteer at the East Texas Food Bank. Berenice is nationally certified as an EKG Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Patient Care Technician and Clinical Medical Assistant through the National Healthcareer Association. In the fall, Berenice plans to study Nursing at the University of Texas at Tyler, with the desire to become a NICU nurse to turn compassion into action— offering hope, healing, and strength to tiny humans, as well as supporting families during the toughest moments of their lives.
