Harliey Courtney
Harliey ’ s parents are are Jennifer and Eric Kupec and William Courtney . Harliey has been active in the FFA throughout her high school years , participating in livestock and Ag Mechanic projects . She earned awards in Ag Mechanics at the San Antonio and Houston shows her senior year , as well as a spotlight award as a sophomore . She served as her FFA chapter president and vice president . She participated in Cherokee County Livestock Show .
Harliey was a member of the National Junior Honor Society her freshman year and the National Honor Society for three years . She served as NHS Vice President her senior year and secretary her junior year .
She has participated in volunteer efforts through the National Honor
Society and FFA . She was a member of the student council all four years of high school . Harliey has earned several spotlight awards in English , math and science courses throughout high school .
She played softball all four years , serving as captain and earning District MVP her junior year and Honorable Mention All-District her freshman year . Harliey was elected Senior Class Favorite . Harliey plans to attend Stephen F . Austin University and to pursue an athletic training career .
Lexis Evans
Lexis is the granddaughter of Henry and Betty Evans .
Lexis was a Junior National Honor Society member her freshman year and has been a National Honor Society member the last three years . She served as NHS treasurer her senior year . She served on the student council her sophomore and senior years . Lexis was involved in a food drive her junior year and blood drives her senior year .
She played basketball , earning a Second Team All-District award her sophomore year and a First Team All-District recognition her senior year . Lexis also ran cross country , becoming a Regional Qualifier her senior year .
Lexis earned her Certified Nursing Assistant license while in high school .
Lexis plans to enroll in a nursing program at Angelina College and later transfer to a university to obtain a bachelor ’ s degree in nursing .
