Marlee Gunter
Marlee Gunter , The Brook Hill School ’ s Class of 2022 Valedictorian , is the daughter of Craig and Holly Gunter . Marlee will be attending Texas A & M University in the fall pursuing psychology and criminal justice with plans to be part of the FBI in the future . While at Brook Hill Marlee was a member of the National Honor Society , the Student Council , Spanish Club , participated in Mock Trial , winning Outstanding Witness Award and First in Regionals ; she was an Ethics Bowl Competitor , and also founded the Culture Club . At Brook Hill Marlee was honored with The Character Award and Academic Awards in science , math , Spanish , Humanities , and Bible . Outside of school Marlee was very active at the BCXR Horse Center as an event participant , member of the Show Team , and served as a trainer and instructor . Marlee traveled to the Amazon as a volunteer as well as serving all areas in East Texas and the surrounding areas . Marlee will graduate with highest honors and a 4.0 GPA .
Sarah Sims
Sarah Sims , The Brook Hill School ’ s Class of 2022 Salutatorian , is the daughter of John and Stacy Sims . During high school Sarah was a member of the Varsity Volleyball Team , Co-Founder of the Spanish Club , and a member of the National Honor Society . Sarah was also chosen to serve as a member of The Texas Bank and Trust Student Board of Directors . While at Brook Hill Sarah was awarded the Brook Hill Potential and Character Award for two years , as well as the Marketing Award and the Business Principles Award . In the community Sarah was active in The Junior Symphony League , The National Charity League , Amazon Outreach , and served as a volunteer in local and state organizations . Sarah plans to attend Washington and Lee University as a Business major . Sarah will graduate with highest honors and a 4.0 GPA .
