Your graduation from Monash University is a wonderful achievement in which you should take immense pride. It is a tribute to your drive and commitment, and the support you have received along the way from family, friends, classmates, teachers and mentors.

As the University’ s namesake Sir John Monash so famously remarked:“ Adopt as your fundamental creed that you will equip yourself for life, not solely for your own benefit but for the benefit of the whole community.”
Our students are our inspiration. They make our campuses the vibrant places they are where new ideas are tested, knowledge is created, accepted truths are challenged and professional and personal relationships are forged.
In graduating you now join a diverse and dynamic network of more than 500,000 Monash alumni spread across more than 156 countries. Our alumni are our greatest ambassadors, inspiring the next generation of students with their wisdom and experience, and partnering with us on future research and innovation to accelerate and increase our impact and influence around the world. Our alumni events are wonderful occasions for our students and staff to share in and learn from the many journeys and achievements of our graduates.
