Degree Requirement for Taking OSC 600 and 700 Level Courses Under OCTD Track A BHS degree in Occupational Science .
Grade / GPA Requirements The minimum passing grade of an OSC course is a " C " or better ( a grade of C- is not acceptable ). Earning less than a " C " will require the course to be retaken with a " B " or better earned on the retake . Students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or greater during each academic term to remain in good standing .
Deceleration / Dismissal Students earning less then a GPA of 3.0 during an academic term will be placed on academic probation . Students will have two consecutive terms to raise their GPA to 3.0 or greater . If less than two terms remain while on academic probation , an overall GPA of 3.0 must be attained by the completion of the Program . A GPA of less than 3.0 after two terms on academic probation , earning less than a " C " in two courses , or failure to earn a " B " or better on a course retake , may result in dismissal from the Program .
Health and Clearance Requirements
All students must be in timely compliance with all health and clearance requirements as outlined in the graduate course catalog . Technical Standards for OT Practice : All students must meet these standards with or without reasonable accommodation . Credit / Graduation Requirements Successful completion of all 38 OT graduate credits ( including all Level II fieldwork ) is required to earn a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy . All students must complete Level II fieldwork within 24 months following completion of academic preparation .
