NUR-633 Primary Care IV-Adolescent ( 12-18yo ) ( 1 ) This course provides students with the theoretical base to assess , diagnose and manage the primary care of the adolescent ( 12-18-year-old ) population . Course content includes the principles of health promotion , disease prevention , and management of common primary health care problems in the diverse adolescent ( 12-18-year-old ) populations . Emphasis is placed on the diagnosis and management of acute episodic and chronic conditions of the adolescent ( 12- 18-year-old ) in the context of the primary care setting and community .
