This course focuses on concepts central to the |

development of the beginning Clinical Nurse Leader ( CNL ) |
|||
role within the interprofessional team in the health care |
|||
delivery system and across the lifespan . Course content |
|||
includes strategies to address the transition to the |
|||
professional nursing role and the changing dynamics in |
|||
health care that challenge clinical nurse leaders . Clinical |

Nurse Leader students will review key elements of |
|||
management and leadership theory and roles and will |
|||
examine strategies and processes that address |
|||
professionalism ; morale and governance ; improvement |

of care delivery ; facilitation of change ; quality and safety ; |
